I need the DCU to do the good by 1 superman character after their 2 big dead films

I need the DC universe Doing good by a character of Superman after their two great deaths of films – and, fortunately, the current trajectory of the franchise depicts an image full of hope that it will do it. In the history of DC cinema, it is almost unknown to have an episode in which a character does not die – especially in the world of live films, where events full of action on which these stories are generally concentrated in death at least their villain. That said, it is not only the bad guys who are confronted with music in DC films by all means.

Whether it is a person killed to establish the threat of specific antagonists, the threat of other dangers, or simply to increase the setting of global history, DC films have killed many characters since time immemorial – and this also includes a range of some of the most appreciated DC comic strips in history. Since DC Superman’s films have killed such a notable character in an ultimately disappointing way, I hope that the chronology of the DC universe can change things a little, and at least add a little longer to the story of the character before finishing it completely.

The 2 films by Jonathan Kent are both disappointing

The fate of Jonathan Kent in Man of Steel is somewhat notorious to dateWith the character’s decision to sacrifice himself in a storm subject to considerable controversy, since he did not necessarily seem that he needed to do so, and it seemed that there were other ways in which his concerns about Clark revealing his identity if he was going to save him could have been approached which did not imply his death. Instead, however, the last one we see by Jonathan Kent in the Chronology of the DCEU is that he argues with Clark, then shortly after being torn by a tornado.

Although the 1978 Superman does not do Jonathan against a tornado, his disappearance is also somewhat disappointing in terms of limitation on the part of a story he obtains In the film series. After taking Clark and raised him for most of his youth, Jonathan is shown in the first part of Superman Faced with a heart attack and dying almost immediately. Although Jonathan’s heart problems are tattered in advance, it can always look like the intrigue killing him for the good of his story, especially since the superpowers of Clark fail to let him hear the difficulties of his dying adoptive father.

While the 1940s Superman Serial presents his own version of Clark Kent’s parents, Clark’s father is called Eben Kent, instead of Jonathan, making him a particularly different vision of PA Kent.

The two movie iterations by Jonathan Kent play important roles in their respective stories and help to establish why the two versions of Superman are so strong in their moral beliefs to help others by showing how much he learned from the two sets of his parents. That said, it also means that, despite a richness of superman films having made his debut during the decades that followed the character that the character appeared in the pages of the comic outputs of DC, the contribution and the impact of Jonathan Kent were largely limited to the first act of two films here.

The DC universe has a perfect chance to manage its story Jonathan Kent differently

Jonathan died in these two films by Superman Origin Story made a meaning with regard to the explanation why Clark decides to go out and discover the world by himself, but that hinders the degree with which we learn the character and see Superman interact with his two parents, against Martha. This can be a bit of a shame, because Jonathan Kent has played a range of interesting roles in comic scenarios alongside his wife, which all become essentially impossible for these cinema worlds.

However, The DC universe seems to be able to take a very different approach from what happened in this regard. With this backdrop in mind, taking a different route by exploring instead how Clark’s life on the big screen might seem different if Jonathan survives – and what advice or perspective, an older Jonathan could have for his superpowing son – it seems that it could bear more fruit for the franchise, and serve the additional benefit of exploration of the type of unusual super -parceress.

With Superman The story that already seeks to focus more on the “ordinary life” of Clark Kent – in terms of career in the daily planet, and his difficulties in acting as a completely average daily person – it would be very logical that the two parents of Clark live. This would provide both a new perspective of history in terms of which the films have generally managed this aspect of things, and open a new avenue for comedy and drama, because the man of steel speaking or visiting his entirely normal parents can easily work in both directions.

The DCU approach to Superman already seems to be able to go differently

The story of DCU by Jonathan Kent already seems more promising with regard to the question of his survival. We already know Superman explore the life of the steel man later being an active superhero – against showing him to become Superman and start to function as a hero – which means Clark’s plans tightening his father already suggest that he has survived his counterparts from the 1970s and 2010. Since the DCU does not have the same need to kill Jonathan to show where the adventures of Superman started, there is much more room so that he continues to live in this world of cinema instead.

Since the intention with the DC universe which goes there is to flourish in an interconnected exensive franchise which can draw from the richness of the comics that DC has created over the years, it would be logical to keep as many major characters as possible as possible at the beginning of its current history. In this spirit, avoiding killing Jonathan seems in the best interest of the franchise, especially since his death would also be what preceded a lot of levels.

I think there are always ways the DC universe could do the death work of Jonathan Kent, but the concept of this one immersing itself in the relatively unexplored cinematographic territory of what the life of Superman could resemble without the death of Jonathan to galvanize him in certain actions could prove the best call to the franchise, in particular at the beginning of what, we hope, could be a vast race. That said, the exact road DC universe In order to take will probably not become clear that in SupermanOtherwise potentially, even later on the line than that.
