Looking back, It is a huge punch that really emphasizes how superman cares and believes in everyone – even the man who is committed to his fall For the entire length of the film. This single line also makes the message of Superman himself all the more powerful.

Indeed, with Lex in the comics who like the concept of being a hero in part to the approval of the public, the end of Superman makes this scenario possible. Luthor’s desire to be venerated is clear, and trying to find a certain approval after the film’s events by adopting a more personal approach seems to be in conformity with its current characterization.
Overall, Superman’s hopes for Lex Luthor in the final Superman Speech paints a promising painting for the future of the two characters. Whether Luthor considers or not the hero’s approach, Superman Lex’s belief can change things that makes the duo rivalry all the more interesting, and all the more rigid for future follow -ups of the DC universe.
