Hytale Shadoweave Scraps Locations and Where to Find Them

Shadowweaver Debris in Hytale is a vital resource for crafting any cobolt gear. But, as with almost everything in the game, it’s up to you to try and figure out where you can get it. This is harder to find than, say, copper in Hytale which you can just mine because, unless you get lucky and walk in the right direction and attack the right enemy, it might take a while before you find what you need. Once you know what you’re looking for and where, you just have to be tough enough to get it, so here’s what you need to know.

To find Hytale Shadoweave, you will need to find the cold region on your map. If you don’t see an area like the one above, you may need to explore a bit to find it. Once you see snow, drop a marker and head in that direction, you’ll know you’re on the right track if it says you’ve discovered the borders of Whisperfrost.

Once there, you look for Outlanders – humanoid enemies who wear wooden masks and look like variations of this:

There’s a whole range of them, from berserkers to hunters to wizards and more, so take a second to see what you’re up against before charging in. These are tougher enemies, so not an easy challenge early in the game. It’s worth being prepared: some can shoot arrows at you from a distance, while wizards can summon two wolves, which is no fun to deal with.

You’ll find most Outlanders in and around buildings, so watch out for structures once you get to the snowy areas. You’ll usually find a few to fight around mines and other areas.

If you Really If you want Shadowweave Fragments in large quantities, head to the large brown circles you’ll see in the white areas of the map. These are basically Stranger settlements, where you’ll find plenty of enemies of this type, as well as chests you can loot for potentially more Shadoweave. However, you’ll really need to be well equipped here, as you’ll likely find yourself in a big fight with multiple opponents, so it won’t be easy. (Definitely bring Hytale repair kits to maintain your armor and weapons.)

Assuming you survive and return with some Shadoweave remains, you can start crafting cobalt weapons and armor. Assuming of course you have all the cobalt ingots and everything else each element needs.
