University Park, PA. -The n ° 1 team of the Nebraska volleyball went on the road and dominated the No. 16 of Penn State, 25-6, 25-15, 25-13, in Ra Hall Friday evening.
The Nebraska (13-0, 3-0 B1G) reached a top of the season .437 and held Penn State (7-6, 1-2 B1g) at -114. It was the second best defensive effort of Nebraska in the era of the rally score (since 2001).
The 34 total points of Penn State scored in the match were his fewer points in a match since 2001. The six points of the PSU in the first set have scored his fewer points in a 5th set also since 2001.
The Nittany Lions have been swept away at home for the first time since September 24, 2022 against Michigan. The Huskers have obtained their first scan at REC Hall since September 22, 2017.
REBEKAH Allick has achieved nine striking attacks on 0.615 striking with four blocks. Virginia Adriano achieved eight striking attacks and hit 0.545. Andi Jackson and Harper Murray each recorded six striking attacks. Taylor Landfair posted five years and Teraya Signing added three.
Bergen Reilly collected 26 assists and eight excavations, and Olivia Mauch led all the players with 10 excavations.
Penn State had only three players with victims, led by Kennedy Martin’s 11, who came. 182 Hitting.
The Nebraska had a decisive advantage of 39-16 in the eliminations, 34-20 advantages in excavations and 9.5-5 margin in blocks.
Set 1: After 2-0 delay, the Nebraska took charge of a 10-1 race. Adriano started with two striking attacks, and Signing and Murray each had two striking attacks, while Jackson and Reilly also contributed to naked at 11-3. Set 2: Naked has never dragged, up 3-0 with a block and kills by Murray. Jackson added two striking attacks and Allick nailed in two, and the senior intermediate blocker combined with Murray for a block between Adriano, while the Huskers increased by 13-5. An ACE and Kill de Murray increased the two-digit advance, 19-9, and Allick, Adriano and Landfair had killed the section with an Ace Reilly for a 25-15 victory.
Set 3: The Nebraska led 8-5 when Reilly served an 8-0 race which was 16-5. Allick had two victims and a solo block in this section, and Landfair added a killing. Murray and Adriano hit the victims before consecutive backstroke errors are 22-9. Naked closed the sweep, 25-13.
