Cloud9 has named Nick “Inero” Smith as the new head coach on his legendary legendary list, replacing the Bok “Reatreed” Han-Gyu.
Smith, 31, joined the North American organization as a coach in November 2024, and will now have its first opportunity as a chief trainer. He first joined the Dream team in 2016 before also spending stays with Echo Fox, Golden Guardians, disguised and immortal until reaching Cloud 9.
Reaper, who joined the organization for the first time in 2016, was in its second passage as a team -mower of the team. After playing this role from 2016 to 2010, he returned in April 2024. C9 had six LCS championships and 10 world appearances LOL, but failed to qualify for the 2025 world championship in China.
Cloud9 finished second in Split One this year before finishing fourth in the cross-conference tournament after a defeat in the semi-finals against Team Liquid. The C9 reached the final of Split 2 and qualified for the Esports World Cup, although it failed to qualify for the invitation of mid-season.
