Take me to the church, Little Lion Man.

Hozier And Mumford & Sons You are associated to release a song entitled “Rubberb Band Man”, which will be released on October 24. The song is not a cover of Filators“1976 Funky # 2 Hit” The Rubberband Man “. Based on an Instagram clip of the two acts working on the song, it looks like a folky and acoustic melody based on the guitar, which is almost what you expect. Even Marcus Mumford is seen describing part of the song as “The Stronmy Stronmy Thing”.

“You are a world far / But you are always the same / I know you by heart and I will call you by your name”, sing the two acts. “And it’s far from the crack at the grave / you know that I remember everything.”

“Yeah, it’s going to be so dope,” exclaims Marcus.

The two acts have already played together on stage in Bonnaroo in 2015 and the Austin City Limits Festival in 2023, but this is their first recorded collaboration.

Hozier will perform at Eddie VedderThe Ohana festival in Dana Point, California on Sunday, and during the Austin City limits festival this year on October 3. Mumford’s next live show is October 8 in Chicago.
