How to see in order the films of the warren and the universe “The Conjuring”

If those who laugh better, when they are frightened, should be done first. Nothing like knowing where fear comes from. This applies to the So-Salled Warren universe, a supernatural horror franchise which covers nine films and whose tenth episode, “The Conjuring: Last Rites”, presented this Friday, September 5 in cinemas.

Launched in 2013 with “The Conjuring”, this franchise of films can be seen in the order in which they were created during these 12 years.

But, since the films of the Warren universe take place in different decades – which cover from 1952 to 1986 – it is also valid to see them in chronological order. It is considered that the four films with “The Conjuring” in the title are the center of the saga, while the remaining six bands work as benefits, when fighting the characters or objects mentioned in the main franchise.

This is possible because the Warren universe is a dramatization of the alleged cases studied in real life by Ed and Lorraine Warren, paranormal researchers who became famous in the 1970s with their reports on haunted houses, people harassed by spirits and objects owned by malignant entities. The cases documented by the Warren wedding was a perfect material for a horror films franchise.

Directed by James Wan, “The Conjuring” is the film that created the whole franchise. He tells the story of the marriage formed by Ed (Patrick Wilson) and Lorraine Warren (Vera Farmiga), who come using the Perron family, the object of event disorders after having moved to a Rhode Island farm in 1971.

First year: 2019.

The film “Annabelle returns home” after the events seen at the start of “The Conjuring”. He tells the story of a teenager and his friend who, while taking care of Ed and Lorraine Warren’s daughter, wakes up without knowing a bad spirit trapped at Annabelle’s wrist.
