As a duelist with above average health compared to other members of this category, his playstyle is very different. of what one might expect.
Every Daredevil Ability Explained
Master your senses to become fearless
Daredevil is almost blind Marvel Rivalswith a limited field of vision compared to all other characters on the list. This reflects blind lawyer Matt Murdock, who uses his radar senses to form an unorthodox picture of the world in order to “see.” This passive effect in the game makes Daredevil unable to see beyond a certain distance, reducing his concentration while you play.
Despite Daredevil’s lack of traditional eyesight, he has several ways of spotting his opponents to compensate for this. Daredevil can detect enemies through walls and other obstaclesfollowing their movements when he marks them as targets.
Daredevil’s abilities and attacks create a character-specific resource called Fury. You start with three stacks of Fury, consuming it to perform certain abilities that boost other aspects of Daredevil for powerful combos.
With several character nerfs and buffs in Season 4.5, Daredevil brings even more changes to how his abilities interact with other characters. For a complete breakdown, the table below goes over all of Daredevil’s moves, including how to perform them and how long they take to recover from cooldown:

Restoring the Righteous Cross from various abilities helps you deal greater damage in bursts, quickly dealing divine punishment to enemies. You want to use your Fury often on Infernal Fury, which allows you to create a powerful bouncing projectile in Devil’s Throw or a burst of flaming AoE damage using Devil’s Chain.. Either follow-up to this ability is incredibly powerful if you can chain it to Daredevil’s other moves.
How to use Daredevil’s Ultimate
Unleash the beast to weaken your team’s enemies
Daredevil’s ultimate ability is called Let the devil outwhich creates a large area of effect (AoE) when activated. This Ultimate allows Matt Murdock to embrace the Beast within, dealing damage to enemies in his field of vision over time. for a duration of nine seconds.
This ability lasts for a while compared to others, but enemies can escape it if they run away from Daredevil’s limited view over time. But it’s easier said than done since Daredevil’s Ultimate causes enemies within its radius to suffer a progressive blind effect.which eventually causes them to lose all vision if they are exposed to it for too long.
Daredevil continually gains Fury as a passive bonus during his Ultimate, allowing you to quickly chain his abilities without worrying about resource depletion.
This prevents characters like Star-Lord from using their Ultimates or abilities requiring sight. If Daredevil stays close to a target during his Ultimate, he can ensure that they have no other focus than him. for as long as it lasts, throwing aside some team compositions Marvel Rivals which force allies to see each other.
The chaos this Ultimate can cause is perfect for the way Daredevil wants to play. Those who use this Ultimate correctly can blind the strategists of the rest of their teampreventing them from effectively healing their enemies when they try to escape Daredevil’s onslaught.
Best team compositions for Daredevil
Gather like-minded characters who hunt down targets
Daredevil doesn’t have too many synergies within him Marvel Rivalstaking the sins of the world on his back as a lonely burden most of the time. That being said, certain characters can aid Matt Murdock in his righteous mission, using their own abilities to either fearlessly protect the man or jump into battle with him.
Some of the best heroes to have on a team with Daredevil are:
- Magneto
- Venom
- Magic
- The Punisher
- Ultron
- Invisible Woman
The Punisher and Daredevil make an interesting team in Marvel Rivals called Blind verdictDaredevil getting increased damage and health just by having Frank Castle on his team. Beyond this advantage, The Punisher shares Daredevil’s Sonic Pursuit target, seeing them through walls. The Punisher also gains a Devil-Infused Shock Grenadewhich he can use to damage and blind enemies he hits with it.
Strategists like Ultron can be great with Daredevil, as their passive healing and burst damage pair well with the hero’s basic strategy. Invisible Woman also works well, as her AoE Ultimate can combine with Daredevil’s to slow opponents within her blinding range.
Venom and Magik are also great characters to work with with Daredevil, mainly because of how they “dive” on the adversaries aggressively. The combined damage from these characters can make quick work of shared targets, especially if someone like Magneto uses a shield bubble to ensure Daredevil’s approach.
Best Tips, Tricks and Strategies for Winning
Tap into the darker side of constant conflict
Obviously, Daredevil is a strange character in Marvel Rivalsacting as a duelist closer in nature to Iron Fist or Magik. Daredevil must find suitable targets to succeedwithout overestimating what he can handle in a given conflict between his team and another.
Your best strategy with Daredevil is to choose your targets wisely, then go all out against them. Hunting down one or two enemies separated from their team, then using every bit of Daredevil’s Fury to ensure their elimination can do wonders in breaking the unity of your opposition.
When Daredevil is under pressure, such as when an enemy team groups together against him, a good plan is to use his Devil’s Latch to escape a fight and join his own team for support.
Understanding your Infernal Fury combos will set you apart from other Daredevil players, as mastering this skill will allow you to charge up others instantly. Chaining Infernal Fury with Righteous Cross will maximize your damage potential.allowing your potential dive team to Marvel Rivals to help you get kills more often.
The lack of cooldown on almost all of Daredevil’s moves gives him much more freedom than other duelists. Don’t be afraid to combine many of Daredevil’s abilities to get the best advantagewhether in attack or defense. Daredevil’s Reflect ability is extremely powerful, capable of knocking back enemy Ultimates or negating their damage on Daredevil or anyone behind him.
The key to Matt Murdock’s success is how you recognize which skills to use in different situations. With melee combat abilities, mid-range projectiles, AoE hellfire, and fast mobility, Daredevil’s tools are vast. Marvel Rivalsbut the right combination of them could make you the most dangerous fighter on the battlefield.
