Sparkling Shell Crystal is a rare crafting material added to Infinity Nikki in version 2.0. This material is used to craft certain 5-star outfits (like the Guardian’s Vow top), as well as to purchase items from merchant shops scattered throughout Italy. Unlike most other crafting materials currently in play, Glittering Shell Crystals cannot be obtained directly through grooming, catching insects, or fishing. They can only be collected after “curing” sick snails in Italy.

Infinity Nikki: How to Get Sparkling Shell Crystal
The process to obtain Glittering Shell Crystals in Infinity Nikki involves purchasing a particular item called “Snailcure” and using it to cure sick snails in Italy. Once the snails are healed, they will reward you with Glittering Shell Crystals.
Follow these steps to start and finish this whole process:
1) Buy Snailcure from various stores
There are currently two stores in Italy that sell Snailcure, one being Nibble Nibble Snail Foods and the other being Chomp Chomp Snail Foods. One of these stores is located in Spira, while the other is located in Elderwood Forest.
Nibble Nibble Snail Foods – owned by merchant Manyuyu – can be found in the northeast region of Spira 1F. Teleport to the 1F Warp Spire Transfer Station and head northeast to reach this shop.
Chomp Chomp Snail Foods is located near the ruins of the Titan Outpost in Elderwood Forest. You can get there by teleporting to the Giant Spear Station Warp Spire and walking a few steps southwest.
You can purchase Snailcure from Nibble Nibble Snail Foods using Pearl Bloom, while you can purchase it from Chomp Chomp Snail Foods using Sweet Dust. Once sold out, these items are updated every 24 hours.
2) Give Snailcure to sick snails
There are many sick snails in Elderwood Forest and Spira. After locating a diseased snail, approach it, equip the Snailcure to your quick-use bar, and click the “Feed” option. This will give the Snailcure to the snail, which will eat it and quickly regain its vigor. You will then be rewarded with a Glittering Shell Crystal.
You can get one Glittering Shell Crystal for each diseased snail you cure using this method.
