How to beat this week’s Arc Raiders events

Trials in Arc Raiders is actually a ranking system where you compete against other players for high scores on five challenges each week. When you complete a task for this week’s challenges, you will earn points towards that objective and earn a place on the leaderboard.
The competition can get intense, to say the least. But if you want to earn all of the unique Trials rewards, you’ll have to step up and try your luck. Below I’ll go over all of this week’s Trials challenges and the best way to complete them to get a high score.
Arc Raiders testing this week
From the outset, it is important to understand how scoring works. First, only your personal best score in a single race for each challenge contributes to your overall ranking, so you need to be prepared.
Second, you can earn double trial score points when card conditions are activesuch as Night Raid, Electromagnetic Storm, and Hidden Bunker, so it’s always better to complete the challenges of these races. Additionally, it’s basically always easier to attempt this with two other players, not only because it’s easier to stay alive, but also because the score is often shared, allowing you to get higher scores with much less effort.
Here’s how to score high on this week’s Trial Challenges (Week 5), available Monday, November 24 through Monday, December 1:

Trial Challenge |
Best method |
|---|---|
|
Deal damage to Rocketeers |
The best location I’ve found for this challenge is the Dam Battlegrounds at night, as there are often Rocketeers around the North Complex elevator at the Power Plant, southeast of the Hydroponic Dome Complex, near the Dam Wall, and between Research and Administration and the Red Lakes Balcony elevator. Another option is to go to any rooftop during the Spaceport Hidden Bunker event, as there are plenty of Rocketeers around the launch tower, and this event gives you an extra ten minutes. Regardless of which option you choose, these elite enemies will respawn approximately every ten minutes. Bring some of the best weapons, Wolfpack grenades and barricades. |
|
Download data during Hidden Bunker |
While this event is active on any map, simply complete it as usual by activating all the antennas in each corner of the map to open the hidden bunker, then download the data from the computers as usual. It’s more about waiting (and avoiding campers) than anything else. Unfortunately, this event is only active for one hour per day. Check MetaForge’s event timers to find out when they will be available in your region. |
|
Search for First Wave Hulls |
This objective is more confusing than it actually is and boils down to looting any of the predetermined Arc Corpses around the map, such as Barons, Rocketeers, Wasps, and Hornets. They are usually slightly buried in the ground. Spaceport is a great map for this since there are 38 of these hulls (map above thanks to MetaForge), with many around the fuel processing, fuel lines, fuel storage, and start building to the southwest. It doesn’t matter if someone beat you, because all you have to do is open their inventory. It’s more than possible to get three stars for this task during a standard run, although you’ll still earn double points during a condition event like Night or Hidden Bunker. |
|
Damaged Snitches |
It’s a simple objective but difficult to optimize since you just need to kill the Snitches. One thing you can do to make things easier is to head to higher ground, like the top of the control tower on the Dam Battlegrounds or the starting building on the Spaceport, and use a long-range weapon like an Osprey to take out the Snitches from afar. This challenge can be completed on any map, but it is much more difficult to find a safe place and avoid attracting players’ attention on maps like Buried City, for example. |
|
Arc enemies on the ground damaged |
This is perhaps the simplest since it counts everything from the queen and matriarch to jumpers, bombers, bastions, pops, fireballs and ticks. With the Hullcracker nerf, it’ll be a little harder than before, but you’ll want to hunt Arcs. I recommend taking advantage of the Spaceport Hidden Bunker event to get bonus time and bringing strong gear like an Anvil, Showstoppers, Blaze Grenades, and Deadline Mines. Otherwise, head to the Dam Battlegrounds to hunt down the Leapers at Water Treatment, Red Lake, Breach, and Testing Annex, the Bomber at the Main Facility, and the Bastion at the Hydroponic and Pipeline Tower. |
Arc Raiders Trials Rewards

There are two types of rewards for participating in the Trials system: challenge rewards and seasonal rewards. Challenge rewards are earned by scoring points on tasks each week and simply give you a loot box (although these can include blueprints).
Seasonal rewards are much more interesting, granting you exclusive items based on your final ranking at the end of the season. The rewards for the current season are:
- Recruit II: Happy Jig Emote
- Recruit III: Black Eyed Face Style
- I try hard: Archaeologist backpack color
- Tryhard III: Backpack briefcase clip
- Wildcard I: Mastery Medal backpack charm
- Wildcard III: Bow and Arrow Emote
- Daredevil I: Patrol outfit and headgear
- Canteen legend: Scarlet Black color for the Patrol outfit
