Players can add friends to Persona 5: The Phantom X as part of its online features. However, it is not available from the start. You will have to progress the story to a certain point to unlock it. Although the game is solo, your friends can always help you in combat via a particular mechanic. Connection with other people can benefit both parties.

You will get the opportunity to interact with friends when you start the fourth day in the game after returning from the palace. You will see a notification when opening the Wonder smartphone. The list of “application” friends will appear on the mobile home screen; Open it. From there, you can add specific or random players. For the latter, go to the Add friends tab. You will see a list of players to which you can send a request. If they accept it, you will both become friends in Persona 5: The Phantom X. Check your “requests” tab to see if a person has asked to connect with you. You can accept or reject it from there.

If you want to find a specific person, access the “Add a friend” tab. There will be a search bar at the top right. Enter the reader’s ID in it. Be sure to type it properly. The account that appears later will be your friend’s profile. If you want to send your reader identifier to someone else, follow the steps below:
- Open the smartphone.
- Select the Wonder tab at the top of the screen. This will open your profile.
- Click on the three points in the upper left corner of the account image.
- Choose the COPIER ID option.
- Paste it on any messaging application of your choice and send it to your friend.
The people you log in will appear on the Friends tab.

What does the addition of friends do in Persona 5: The Phantom X?
There are two main mechanisms that you can use when connected with a friend in P5X: cat and aid.
Chatter
Friends of Persona 5: The Phantom X can discuss a private message screen inside the smartphone in play, similar to Persona 5. It is a fun and diegetic way of communicating with your friends without using external help.
Aid
When you add a friend to your group, you can borrow a ghost idol of his choice and add it to the last niche in your group. Thus, an experienced player can provide a powerful ally to your team.
When you prepare your team members before starting an shipment, click the Assist button. It will show you all the phantom idols enrolled by your friends that you can use to fill out a slit in your party. These borrowed agents will act as your own members for this shipment. Note that you cannot have Phantom double idols in your group.
The assistance system works in both directions. Thus, you can enlist your own Phantom IDOL to be borrowed by your friends in Persona 5: The Phantom X. Open the amazing tab at the top of the mobile screen in the game. Inside the account page, the final agent (the most right) of the Phantom Thief panel will be the one to appear on the list of allies of your friend. So be sure to put your best character in it.
