How the “Arcane” team defended human collaboration in the last season

“There were other studios that had higher loyalty, which in the cinematographic space was more polite, but Fortiche had this style, and it was largely human imperfections,” says Linke, who is also the leader of Riot animation, says The Hollywood Reporter. “The first view, the camera [wasn’t] Perfect. There would be scratches on the lens and dust particles that made things a little blurred, but it was real because it is imperfect. “”

“These are people who brought a piece of themselves to the project that needs to tell art their soul and put this in the show, in each setting or part of the character, or a look or a feeling,” explains Amanda Overton, Co-Ep and screenwriter. “AI cannot do this. AI can only imitate what others have done for this. ”

“At the end of the day. These are just tools, ”adds Linke of the AI. “And the tools become easier to access, but to impress a large body of humans and connect with them – there are a lot of people, whatever the tools you give them, which will not be able to do it.”

Riot and Fortiche were able to do so for two seasons in part thanks to a coherent approach to writing and animation, both fed by emotional instinct and contrast. “I think that when you try to build a story, so often the conversation in the room is:” It is not logical “.
