How Teyana Taylor, Leonardo DiCaprio “Instantly became” Best friends

In their new film, Teyana Taylor and Leonardo DiCaprio fall in love. In real life, they were instant besides.

During a conversation with The New York Times Alongside some of their One battle after another Costares published on Monday September 8, Taylor, 34, and DiCaprio, 50, shared that their friendship precedes their time to work together on the new action thriller – and revealed where their unexpected meeting took place.

When he was asked how he brought Taylor on board to play Perfedia in the film directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, Dicaprio told the point of sale: “I have known Teyana for a long time.”

“Paul and I were talking about who would play this lightning rod of a character who was a radical but also someone who was able to manipulate”, the Titanic Star continued. “The echoes of his character have repercussions throughout the film, and each character is emotionally marked by Perfidia.”

“So we knew that we needed to get someone who could not only be daring and frank, but bring this talent for improvisation of truth in the moment,” added the star. And a particular person continued to come in the conversation, he said.

DiCaprio and Anderson “continued to talk about our daughter Teyana,” said the first The New York Times. “She just embodied this character in a way that I do not think that someone else can. We are all left as a carnage after his arrival on the screen, picking up the pieces of our lives.”

Taylor then struck, revealing that she and the connection of DiCaprio were quite sudden, cementing them like “best buds” long before they appeared on the screen together.

“Funny thing: me and Leo we really met at Diana Ross’s birthday party a few years ago and instantly become the best buds,” said the musician-actress. “It’s my winger, my partner in crime!”

The trailer for the film teasing that Perfedia was apprehended by the police before the start of the events of the film, leaving Bob and Willa on the run and taking refuge with an ally, represented by Benicio Del Toro.

“The two pivotal forces of this film,” said DiCaprio The New York Times“Are part of Paul’s imagination, but I think they are an analogy of the place where we have become as a society and how we have stopped listening to each other, and how these characters think or act in these extremes can cause a lot of injuries.”
