“It is such an honor,” wrote Ashley, who is in place for the exceptional support actor in a limited series, in a press release. “This appointment means the world for me – not like recognition, but as a reminder of the measure where I came. It is for all those who held me through the ups and downs, who believed in me when I needed the most.”
Indeed, Ashley could not believe how far he came to achieve this honor.
“It is a testimony to the power of perseverance,” he continued. “The dreams are important – but it is the hard work, the reverse, the growth and the coherence that make them real. Five years ago, it seemed out of reach. Today, I am incredibly proud – not just for myself, but to stand alongside a group of artists that I deeply admire. What we have done together is something that I will wear with me.
