On October 21 and 22, the matches of the third round of the main phase of the UEFA Champions League for the 2025/26 season will take place. This round continues the new tournament concept, where all participants compete in a single series of shared matches without traditional groups.
In the second season under this format, 36 clubs will play eight matches – four home and four away – against different opponents. The 24 teams with the highest points will qualify for the playoffs.

Typically, tournament battles within the new format focus on competing for the top 24 playoff spots, where each victory brings a team closer to the deciding stage.
