Jessica Biel and Elizabeth Banks have filmed their new show, “The Better Sister”, feel like a summer camp, organizing fun group activities and outings for distribution.
Maxwell Donovan, Gloria Reuben and Gabriel sloy say on page six that Biel and Banks have been outdone to make sure everyone was having a good time during the Tournage à Long Island last summer.
Biel, 43, who is married to Justin Timberlake, took the casting to one of the singer’s concerts, while Banks, 51, organized a dancing evening at the Cumming club in the East Village.
Sloy, 36, shared that the concert seats were, unsurprisingly, in front of the stage, and were so close that he thought that the “sexyback” singer gave him.
He jokes saying he was slightly discouraged when he realized that Timberlake agitated Biel.
Sloy adds that the “incredible leadership” of the pair made that the crew “felt at home from the start”.
“It was a pretty dreamy summer,” shares Donovan. “It was like every moment, they were so intentional to install everything to be perfect.”
According to members of the Kim Dickens and Bobby Naderi distribution, Biel even organized a Padel tournament for the group.
“Jess was quite solid,” shares Dickens joking, adding: “That’s why she installed it.”
The limited series, based on the best -selling book by Alafair Burke, focuses on two distant sisters – Biel and Banks – which must put aside their grievances and their distrust after an eminent lawyer for Manhattan is murdered.
The lawyer just was an ex from the character of Banks and the husband of the character of Biel.
Dickens and Naderi, who play detectives investigating the murder, worked together in “Fear the Walking Dead”, but the first did not recognize the actor when he arrived.
According to Naderi, 40, his radically different haircut made him unrecognizable for Dickens, 59.
“Once he jogging my memory, I said:” Of course “”, remembers Dickens, noting that “he had a much more military haircut” in the Zombie series.
Naderi’s facial hair also has a change of “best sister” with a serious mustache.
“He had his own separate trailer,” jokes Dickens while Naderi adds cheaply: “He was transported from Italy.”
“The Better Sister”, which also features Corey Stoll, Lorraine Toussaint and Matthew Modine, is starting to broadcast on Amazon on May 29.
