How could Juventus Miss Dean Huijsen the potential? Fabio Capello disconcerted by Bianconeri Blunding

Fabio Capello hit Juventus for not spotting Dean Huijsen’s potential.
Huijsen made a single appearance for Juve before joining Bournemouth in 2024 for costs in the region of 12 million pounds sterling.
Twelve months later, and after a series of brilliant performance in the Premier League, the Spanish international joined Real Madrid for 50 million pounds sterling.
Huijsen took an impressive start to Madrid and will be in the XI when they face Juve at the Club World Cup later in a confrontation between two clubs that Capello has managed in his long career.

Huijsen has clear potential – Capello
The Italian is disconcerted by the fact that the half-center managed to pass the fingers of Juve after three years in the configuration of the Turin Club.
“I am surprised that Juventus did not see the boy’s clear potential,” Capello told Gazzetta.
“Huijsen has not suddenly become good. If he plays for Real Madrid at 20, he is surely good enough for Juventus.”
Madrid enters the game as favorites and Capello thinks that their greatest individual quality could be obvious, adding: “Vinicius Jr, [Kylian] Mbappé and [Jude] Bellingham are potential winners of golden ball.
“Many have said that Carlo Ancelotti was based solely on individual talents, but it was brilliant to improve the characteristics of players. Let’s see what Xabi Alonso does now. There is certainly no shortage of personality to assert itself in Madrid.”
Capello a big fan of Yildiz
If there is a reason for optimism for Juventus, it comes in the form of the young striker Kenan Yildiz.
The Turkey international was the best Bianconeri player in the tournament and Capello thinks he could pose problems for Huijsen and the rest of the four in Madrid.
“Yildiz has talent and humility of a champion. He is a player of Real Madrid level,” he said.
“Juventus is right to keep it firmly. It could be its game.”
