Collective decision -making is hardly a perfect science. The broken processes, data overload, asymmetry of information and other inequalities only worsen the challenges that come from large disparate factions with different objectives trying to work together. And tools that often help decision -making – data analysis, scenarios planning, decision trees, etc. – can vacillate in front of the scale and the complexity of the biggest problems with which groups and leaders face.
