The list of nominees 2025 ESPY Awards includes Caitlin Clark, Saquon Barkley

The stars of the NFL Josh Allen and Saquon Barkley, the superstar of the WNBA Caitlin Clark, Coco Gauff, Simone Biles, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Ilona Maher and Alexander Ovechkin are among the main nominees for the 2025 Espy Awards, announced Thursday.

The winners will be announced on Wednesday July 16, with the ceremony which will be organized by the actor Shane Gillis live from the Dolby Theater of Los Angeles at 8 p.m., broadcasting live on ABC and Streaming on ESPN +.

Te show will see celebrities of the World of Sports and Entertainment Put prizes in categories like “Best athlete – Male Sports”, “Best athlete – Female Sports”, “Best Revolutionary Athlete”, “Best Record performance”, “Best Championship Performance” and “Best Comeback Athlete”.

Allen, Barkley and Gilgeous-Alexander will compete in the Male Sports category, with Shohei Ohtani completing the list of nominees. Biles is nominated in the women’s category, Ilona Maher in the category of breakthroughs and Ovechkin and Clark in the record performance category.
