House falls away from land as typhoon hits Alaska

Footage shows a house drifting out to sea after the remnants of Typhoon Halong hit Alaska over the weekend.
After crossing the Pacific Ocean, the storm produced hurricane-force winds that left one person dead and two others missing.
Authorities rescued two dozen people whose homes had drifted into the sea and about 1,300 people were displaced.
Brea Paul, who filmed the video on Oct. 12 in Kipnuk, said she saw about 20 other houses floating during the night, some of whom were “flashing their phone lights at us like they were asking for help but we couldn’t even do anything.”
