House Dems begins to make the merit of the arrangements in the law supported by Trump against which they voted

Democratic legislators have criticized him as the “major ugly bill”, but some members of the minority party are starting to rent – and even take credit – for various provisions within the Big Bill Act of President Donald Trump.
Communities across the country are expected to earn billions of dollars in federal funding to the President’s tax and immigration law that Trump signed on July 4. Several Congress Democrats are beginning to claim the responsibility for the provisions they deem beneficial for their voters despite the bill during its adoption. Although the Democratic Manager of the Hakeem Jeffries Chamber argued that the adoption of Trump’s budget bill will cost Republicans to control the lower room in the middle of the outside, some members of his conference calmly report that certain provisions of the bill are popular with voters.
“The Democrats of the Chamber voted against the biggest tax reductions in generations, the security of historical borders and the safer communities – then tried to take a victory tour because they have nothing else to run,” said the spokesperson for the National Republican Congress Committee (NRCC), Mike Marinella, in a press release. “It’s like lighting a house on fire and taking credit when the fire service arises.”
Kansas Democrat representative Sharice Davids, rented new federal dollars for his regional Kansas City district on Wednesday to help finance the security costs of the six -game game for the 2026 World Cup.
“I have just announced: the new federal funding heads towards public security before the World Cup next year!” Davids published on the social media platform X.
The legislator of four mandates did not mention the legislative vehicle which obtained funding – the “large and beautiful” law of the president – against which it voted.
Davids described the legislation as “extreme budget [that] hurts all those who are not already billionaires, “in a press release on the day of his” no “.
“I am frustrated – and I am excited,” added Davids in another article, expressing his indignation concerning the adoption of the bill.
Davids is not the only Democrat in credit for the provision of Trump’s signature legislation, allocating $ 625 million in federal funding to help 11 cities through the United States host the World Cup next July.
The Missouri Democratic representative, Emanuel Cleaver, another member of the Congress of the Kansas City region, also claimed the responsibility of providing federal dollars in Trump’s bill.
“After having participated in representatives from across the country to put pressure for federal investments that will provide a safe and ordered event, I am very happy that we were able to obtain $ 625 million to support security efforts in the 11 host cities, including Kansas City,” Cleaver said in a joint statement with Davids on July 11.
Barely eight days earlier, the Missouri Democrat argued that the legislation incorporating the funding of the World Cup was “morally reprehensible and supremely guilty”, in a press release between the adoption of the bill. Cleaver cited the budget package reforms to law programs and extend tax reductions to Americans of all income levels, including best -won individuals.

The Missouri Democratic representative, Wesley Bell, also applauded a provision in the Trump’s signature bill despite the fact that the budgetary package will be “cruel” and “devastating” for its voters during the debate on the adoption of the bill.
The Democrat in the St. Louis region has praised the reutorization and the greatest extension to date of the Radiation remuneration law (RECCA) in the Budget Package of Republicans. The provision has been a long -sought -after priority of the Missouri Josh Hawley republican senator who cited Reca’s expansion as one of his reasons for supporting Trump’s bill. The legislation would allow the Americans living in certain postal codes, including those of the district of Bell to St. Louis, Missouri, to be eligible for compensation if they were exposed to nuclear waste.
Bell attended an event in Saint-Louis with Hawley praising the reauthorization and expansion of a fund for victims of hidden nuclear radiation in the bill supported by Trump to which he vigorously opposed.
He was asked to explain his “no” voting during the event in the light of his celebration of the compensation fund for victims of nuclear radiation.
“You are not going to always get whatever you want,” said Bell. “And so there are concerns and problems that many of us have with this budgetary bill, but at the same time, people who have long been waiting for compensation, to be recognized for their pain and suffering – this is something in which I can delight me,” told journalists.
“This is a piece of this bill that I can be happy with,” said Bell.
It was a notable difference in the fellow declaration of the Democrat of the Chamber on the day of the adoption of the bill, which did not mention the expansion of Reca.
“What has happened on the floor of the room today will be one of the darkest votes in modern American history,” wrote Bell. “The truth is that most people still do not realize how devastating it will be.”

The first -year legislator continued to tacitly request credit for the expansion of RECCA in recent days.
“For the people of North St. Louis, compensation for exposure to nuclear radiation has been expected for a long time,” wrote Bell in an article on Instagram on Thursday. “I said that since the first day: I will not stop fighting as long as each family is not remunerated for their suffering.”
“Thank you very much,” said a user under Bell’s post.
