The 65th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 saw the battle between the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Friday May 23, at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpaye Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.
The Royal Challengers Bengaluru won the draw and chose to play the first in the match. Jiteh Sharma intervened as Captain of the RCB in the match while Rajat Patidar was not entirely fit in the field and he played as an impact player.

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru quarrels did not have a good day, and they could not prove the decision to launch. Even if Romario Shepherd (2), Krunal Pandya (1), Suyash Sharma (1), Lungi Ngidi (1) and Bhuvnehwar Kumar (1) picked up counters at regular intervals, SRH was able to display a huge score of 231/6 on the board.
Ishan Kishan emerged as the interpreter outside the SRH contest as he slammed an undefeated 94 48 bullets. Abhishek Sharma (34), Aniker Verma (26) and Heinrich Klaanse (24) also cut with crucial races.
Chasing the target, Virat Kohli (43) and Phil Salt (62) beaten brilliantly to provide their team with an excellent start. The RCB firmly controlled the match at 173/3, but the rejection of Rajat Patidar sparked a collapse.
The Royal Challengers Bengaluru went from 173/3 to 189/10 to meet a 42 -point defeat against the Hyderabad Sunrisers. For SRH, Pat Cummins (3), Eshan Malinga (2), Nitish Kumar Reddy (1), Harsh Dubey (1), Harshal Patel (1) and Jaydev Unadkat were part of the counters.
