“It was a different time… A simpler time. A time of good manners. A time of modesty. And a time of murder.” Bleecker Street has revealed the first official trailer for Fackham Halla parody comedy which will be released in theaters next December. We haven’t had a good parody in years! This comedy is inspired by Downton Abbey series, which has just ended (so they say) with the Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale in September this year. A new bearer forms a strange bond with the youngest daughter of a well-known British family. Meanwhile, the Davenport family, led by Lord and Lady Davenport, faces the epic disaster of their daughter’s wedding. “The tea will be spilled. The crumpets will be crumpled.” Ahahaha. If Downton Abbey And Plane! had a love child born with a silver spoon up his ass, it would be Fackham Hall – the new raucous thriller comedy. Comedy stars Ben Radcliffe like Eric, Thomasin McKenzie, Catherine Waterston, Emma Laird, Tom Felton, Lizzie Hopley, Jimmy Carr, Sue Johnston, Tom Goodman HillAnd Damien Lewis like Lord Davenport. This looks like so much fun – a real parody with some really ridiculous jokes that might even be borderline offensive. Yeah, it looks better than everyone else Downton Abbey movies – have a good time.

Here is the first official trailer (+ poster) for Jim O’Hanlon’s comedy Fackham Halldirectly from YouTube:
