“I continue to risk everything, and I find myself with nothing …” Monument Releasing made its debut a new trailer for the film Hey Viktor!A meta comedy on the cinema directed by Cody Lightning. This was created a few years ago at the Tribeca Film Festival 2023, and already opened Canada last year, finally obtaining an American outing this year. It’s a bit like a Kevin Smith film but directed by natives. 25 long years after his stay under the spotlight, the former actor of the child Cody Lightning tries to rekindle his life with a self -produced suite Smoke (1998). He is forced to move home in his reserve in northern Alberta. When he learns that his wife and children leave him for a younger and more successful actor, he decides that it is time to make his masterpiece – write, realize and play in Smoke signals 2: Always smokingBut with a documentary team according to all its erroneous steps. Also presenting Hannah Cheesman,, Simon Baker,, Adam beach,, Farmer,, Irene BedardAnd Mochrian colin. Well, it seems to be very fun even if I am surprised that it did not play Sundance as Smoke did several years ago.
