Here is what the colors iPhone 17, 17 pro and air look like

It is the launch day of the iPhone, which means that it is finally time to see what the new models are like outside of marketing media. Can’t go to your local Apple store? Don’t worry, I fell brilliant and early (Australia Time) to take some photos and record some first impressions.
IPhone 17 colors
The iPhone 17 is available in five colors this year, which is the same number as Apple made available last year. The colors of this year are more subtle, taking soft pastel tones compared to daring and saturated colors that we have seen with the iPhone 16.
The entire chassis of the iPhone 17 is accompanied by colors, from glass to the back to the camera tray and the aluminum case. All the buttons, including the camera command, are also colorful. Like last year’s iPhone 16, the 17 models have a little more color saturation around the vertical cameras network, which should add a touch of color to the back even in the dull cases.
Lavender
If pale pink is your thing, it’s the iPhone for you. It is certainly one of the colors of the iPhone of all time, and that’s about everything I can say.
Wise
Sage of this year is a pale green that is no different from the shade of an original game boy screen.
Fog
Mist Blue could be the highest point of 2025 for me, because it reminds very the Sierra Blue Apple introduced with the iPhone 13 Pro.
White
Sitting somewhere between an iPod and a polycarbonate macbook, the white iPhone 17 is the only model that embraces the natural silver aluminum finish.
Black
While fans of the iPhone 17 Pro are salted on the absence of a black option, whoever chooses an iPhone 17 can choose this classic but stealthy look.

The most recent addition to the Apple iPhone range offers new colors, the A19 chip and the N1 networking chip.
IPhone 17 pro colors
Apple has reduced the number of shades of the iPhone 17 Pro to three this year, against four last year. The chassis has also passed from titanium to aluminum, with a ceramic shield glass panel at the rear (for wireless load).
The entire chassis of the iPhone 17 Pro is a monohull design with colors, with matching metal camera buttons and rings. No more glass surrounding the network of cameras on the back, in favor of a larger camera design design.
Money
In what is undoubtedly the MacBook Pro of iPhones, Silver is distinguished as a piece of shamelessly glossy and natural outdoor aluminum. This is the kind of money you will find on an old 35 mm film camera, and it will look great in any case.
Cosmic orange
The most daring choice of this year, Cosmic Orange is a shade that you will love or hate. Hat in Apple for having taken the strong way rather than a kind of rusty gold, I say.
Deep blue
The closest you get black if you opt for an iPhone Pro in 2025. It is dark enough not to register in blue, while being blue enough to be far from black.

The iPhone 17 Pro Max has several of the same specifications as the iPhone 17 Pro, but you get a larger screen and up to 2 TB of storage.
IPhone air colors
New for 2025, the iPhone Air is the thinnest iPhone on which you can get your hands and the only one to keep a titanium chassis. It is available in four colors with a glass of ceramic shield and a polished metal housing of enveloping color with buttons to match.
The camera tray makes an appearance here, being at the heart of the thin design of the iPhone Air.
Blue sky
It is a subtle blue, but a bit like the Mist Blue of the iPhone 17, it is a personal highlight for all those who love cooler colors. If you look at the image thinking that I have the bad photo, know that I had to check if I had the blue in my hand during the store. It is barely blue.
Light
Apple generally offers a golden shade with its titanium offers, and the air is no exception. Things seem a little washed at the back thanks to the ceramic shield glass, but the edges of the case shine.
White cloud
A little less white and more metallic than the iPod look of the iPhone 17, Cloud White is exceptionally clean alongside the mirror finish of the polished air chassis.
Black space
Apple likes to use this nickname for its Black Deep option, and that’s exactly what you will get. If you want an iPhone that is shameless black, it’s your only choice for 2025 outside the iPhone 16th.

The iPhone Air is the new model to reach the flagship line of the iPhone, and its design is lighter and thinner than ever.
What is the best iPhone color?
To indicate the evidence, the best iPhone color is the one you like the most. Although we have tried to capture the real resemblance of each color here (including taking a personalized white balance), you may have to see each model in person before deciding which you like the most.
As a person who goes to the iPhone 17 Pro this year (from an iPhone 13 Pro in silver stainless steel), I left for money. This should seem well in a case literally, and even if I almost went for the cosmic orange, I was wondering if I would live to forget it once the novelty has died out. I decided to twin it with the new Green Tech Woven case from Apple (hope that it will keep better than unhappy cases).
The other remarkable this year is Space Black and Cloud White iPhone Air, the other two shades more like “white yellow” and “white white” because of their weakness. The Mist Blue of the iPhone 17 also looks great, and I was surprised to see how much I loved the sage in person compared to the pre-liberated photos of Apple. For me, the lavender of the iPhone 17 and the 17 pro Deep Blue of Miss The Mark.
What does aluminum pro look like?
Coming from an iPhone 13 pro stainless steel, I expected the aluminum model to feel lighter. But a quick glance at the specification sheet shows that there is a 2G imperceptible weight difference between the two. Thus, my main concern that the change of chassis equipment would cause a “cheaper” light sensation was completely unfounded.
The monohull design could be one of Apple’s best to date. Whatever you think of swelling of the camera tray, once you have thrown a decent case on it, you will probably not notice it.
Choose the best color
You can go to an Apple store or a similar retailer to see the colors for yourself. If you are thinking of enveloping your iPhone in a case, be sure to choose a color that completes it. While money and black should go with almost anything, Orange and Lavender will not.
