Henchmen: the DC script of Zach Cregger confirmed to present Joker, Harley Quinn

The director of arms, Zach Cregger, confirmed that he had a finished script for a ready -to -use DC project, but he has not yet presented it in DC Studios.
While appearing on Bloody disgusting Podcast in 2022, Cregger spoke of his “Adjacent” script for the first time, revealing that he would like the opportunity to bring it to the screen.
“What I would like to do next … I actually wrote a film that takes place in the DC universe. Which is not normally my thing; I am not a superhero guy – I could not stop thinking about this story that takes place in a adjacent thing from Batman. And so I wrote it, and I am completely obsessed with that.”
Cregger did not share any details on its history at the time, but during a more recent interview with ChatHe described the script as the “best thing I have ever written” and tackled the probability that it is brought to the attention of DC studios now that James Gunn and Peter Safran are in charge.
“If I got the call, I let everything fall and I was going to make this film in the blink of an eye,” He said. “”This is my favorite thing that I have never written. I love it and I want to do it. I did not speak to James Gunn in all my life. I don’t know him but I would certainly like to meet him and have the conversation. Who knows man? “”
Daniel Richtman recently reported that the script is actually a Joker and Harley Quinn Film, and we now have more details to make.
According to THRThe project is titled Henchmenand focuses on “A low -level henchman in the world of Gotham’s crime who gains notoriety after having managed to impatient Batman by a stroke of luck.” Trade adds that “The Dark Knight could briefly appear in the film, while Harley Quinn and Joker are also in the project.
Cregger has not yet presented it to DC Studios, although the company is aware of its interest. “”
If Gunn and Safran are aware of Cregger’s interest in putting the film in production, there is a chance that we can see henchmen one day, but it seems that the filmmaker will be occupied for the next two years.
“I resident Evil, then I have a science fiction film just after that is original. And then I have another finished script that I want to do after that. It is actually happening in the DC universe, but it’s completely original and it’s not a superhero film. I wrote that before writing Barbarian.”
