The heat and humidity will continue to build throughout the day, putting our high temperatures in the 80 High-80 later this afternoon. As always, this humidity will make it feel even warmer than it is already, so we examine the heat clues in the 90s today. We are not under any alert linked to the heat of the National Weather Service, but the regions of our North and South are. Today, we stay dry, but the warm and humid air will provide fuel for strong to severe storms tomorrow and Sunday.
We are under a risk of level 2 of 5 of a violent time for our Saturday as a cold front, so that serious conditions should be dispersed in the south and the center of Wisconsin. Although we can get some dry breaks, most of us will be dealing with showers and thunderstorms for much of the day. In the strongest storms, harmful gusts of wind and a large hail will be possible. In addition to this, because many areas could get precipitation for much of the day, localized floods will be possible. Because the expected precipitation will be so widespread, it is a good idea to stay informed all day tomorrow.
