“He hasn’t won anything yet”

Cristiano Ronaldo Jr believes that his father has accomplished more than the blade of Barcelona Yamal, saying that the latter has not yet won important trophies. It seems natural to defend his father, and quite easy after the brilliant career that the international of Portugal had.
Currently, the 40-year-old striker is in the last phase of his career and is under contract with the Saudi side of Saudi Pro League Al-Nassr until the summer of 2027. Meanwhile, Yamal is only 18 years old and has approximately launched his senior career.
Speaking in a live flow, a friend of Cristiano Jr said (via @thescreenlad):
“Yamal blade is better than Cristiano Ronaldo.”
Responding to this statement, the star of the al-Nassr academy said:
“Right now? Yeah, Lamine is good, but he hasn’t won anything yet.”
Ronaldo has completed a little in his career, after winning the Ballon d’Or and the Trophies of the UEFA Champions League five times each. He also won the European championships with Portugal once.
Meanwhile, Yamal has already shown that he was among the best in the company today, even putting himself in the conversation for this year’s Golden Ballon. Last summer, he won the European championships with Spain and raised the La Liga trophy with Barcelona this campaign.
Last year, Yamal contributed 18 goals and 25 assists in 55 appearances through competitions for the Catalan outfit. It is contracted with the Spanish side until the summer of 2031.
What Cristiano Ronaldo said about Lamine Yamal after the final of the League of Nations
Cristiano Ronaldo had the chance to compete against Lamine Yamal when Portugal faced Spain in the final of the League of UEFA Nations on June 09. Ronaldo and Co. came out victorious at the sanctions after a 2-2 draw.
While Yamal does not win the honor, the man al-Nassr reminded fans that he was only 17 years old and that he was very successful before him. He said about the winger (via the objective):
“He will win a lot of titles, collective and individual. He is only 17 years old … I repeat: he is a child with a lot of room for improvement. It is a phenomenon, but we have to leave him alone, that’s what I ask. He has a very long career in front of him and will certainly win the League of the Nations several times.”
So far, Yamal has played 21 appearances through competitions for Spain, leaving six goals and nine assists. Meanwhile, Ronaldo played 221 games in the colors of Portugal, marking 138 goals.
