HBO Max continues expansion in Asia-Pacific with the launch of 14 markets

Warner Bros. Discovery accelerates its international streaming thrust with the expansion of HBO Max in 14 additional Asia-Pacific territories scheduled for October 15.
Deployment will bring premium streamer to Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Macao, Mongolia, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, among other territories, marking another important step in the strategy of aggressive global extension of the platform.
The launch timing is strategically aligning with the next original HBO series “It: Welcome to Derry”, which will be presented on October 27. The inspired drama of Stephen King includes a set of Tas by Taylour Paige, Jovan Adepo, Chris Chalk, James NEMB, Stephen Rider, Madeleine Stowe, Rudy Mancuso and Bill Skarsgård. Andy Muschietti, Barbara Muschietti and Jason Fuchs have developed the series, which widens the world of horror that Muschietti was established in its Duology Film Duology.

Discovery. “At the end of the year, HBO Max will be available on more than 100 markets, with more to come in 2026, including major launches in Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom”
The service will highlight the Warner Bros. portfolio. Discovery Sprogrammer HBO Prestige Programming, successful franchises like “Harry Potter” and DC Universe Properties, as well as the content of Cartoon Network and various lifestyle networks, including Discovery, TLC, Food Network, ID and HGTV.
New subscribers will access recent theatrical outings, notably “Superman”, “Sinners” and “Final Destination: Bloodlines”, alongside the HBO flagship series “House of the Dragon”, “The Last of Us”, “The Penguin” and “The Pitt”.
The platform will also set out the original original “The Paper” and “Mobland”, the reality program like “Gold Rush”, “Deadlist Catch” and “90-day fiancé”, as well as animated favorites covering “Adventure Time”, “We Bare Bears”, “Tom and Jerry”, “Looney Tunes”, and “The Wonder Wears Of Gumball “.
