Manchester United’s experienced central defender Harry Maguire spoke about his situation this summer because he seems to have had some interest in him.
The English international is no longer the first choice at Man UTD after a slightly indifferent form, although he did well to recover as a solid and reliable team player.
It seems that the Red Devils have no desire to get rid of Maguire, when it also seems perfectly satisfied with its role at Old Trafford now.
Addressing athletics, Maguire admitted that there may be requests for information for him this summer, but all received a quick response.
Harry Maguire on the interest of the transfer this summer
“I am almost sure that the club was aware of the people this summer that I cannot leave the club in terms of terms, with other clubs which inquire about my post with my contract,” said Maguire.
“I am sure that in the coming months, they will sit down and we will have to have a conversation on the place where we want to go and if they want to extend, or the transfer window will open again in January.
“I have something in my mind about what I want to do and what I want to be. I don’t want to put it on everyone, but it’s an incredible club to play and you would be silly if you wanted to jump for it as soon as you could.
“I think there were a few clubs that may have asked or spoke with them, and they had a quick response.”
Maguire always has a role in playing Manchester United
United now plays three at the back under Ruben Amorim, who took the post of manager half of last season, which means that there is no need for the presence of Maguire in the team.
The 32 -year -old man will not start every game, but there is necessarily the occasional luck for him to replace for an injured player, or if someone needs a rest.
Amorim also has tastes of Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt, Lisandro Martinez and Ayden Heaven to choose in central defense, but with three places to win, which still gives Maguire a little hope of obtaining minutes from time to time.
