HAPPY’s place BOSS teases the conflict for Bobbie and Isabella in season 2

After “Happy’s place” United Sisters Bobbie (Reba) and Isabella (Belissa Escobedo), in her first season, season 2 will see a little more conflict between the pair, according to the co-creator of the Kevin Abbott series.
“Last season was really more the honeymoon phase, where they both wanted to be sisters and they wanted it to work, and therefore arguments, you somehow relax … everything that irritates you,” said Abbott in a “Happy’s place” panel on the day of the Nbcuniversal backlot in Los Angeles. “Very small disagreement, they are put aside very quickly.”
Abbott said season 2 would move the new sisters in the next chapter of their relationship, saying: “It’s no longer the wedding phase”.
“I have a good marriage, but it is the one where irritants are a little more irritating, and you hold your land a little more in certain areas,” added Abbott. “We will see a little more conflicts between them when it comes to trying to determine this sister relationship.”
With a large part of the distribution and the crew that take place from “Reba”, the star of “Reba” Steve Howey Guest played in the first season, and Abbott hopes that Joanna Garcia Swisher could be the next alum to make an appearance in the sitcom NBC, especially since Swisher expressed his desire to come in the show.
“We are working on it. We really want, really Joanna be in the series,” said Abbott. “We have some roles that we juggle to decide what would be the most fun for her – because we do not want to bring someone and that he is right.
Abbott added that Swisher, which currently hosts the Netflix dating program “The Ultimatum: Queer Love”, is “at the top of the list of people we want to bring as guest stars”.
As for whether Howey could come back for season 2, the chances are a little more troubled after having won a regular role as standard in ABC’s “High Potential”, which features Kaitlin Olson. “It is good, which is a kind of curse,” said Abbott jokingly, adding that there is “always a chance” that Howey could come back. “We love him to death.”
Season 2 of “Happy’s Place” will be presented on November 7 on NBC. Season 1 is now streaming on Peacock.
