Fox News host Sean Hannity announced he will host a town hall with New Jersey Republican gubernatorial candidate Jack Ciattarelli that will air Thursday on Fox News.
The New Jersey gubernatorial race is one of the most closely watched elections, as Ciattarelli once again seeks to turn the Garden State blue to red after nearly beating Democratic Gov. Phil Murphy in 2021.

Polls against his opponent, Democratic gubernatorial candidate Rep. Mikie Sherrill, have tightened in recent weeks.

A Fox News poll conducted October 10-14 placed Sherrill at 50% of likely voters, and Ciattarelli at 45%. Sherrill’s 5-point advantage was down from the 8-point lead obtained in Fox News’ September New Jersey survey.

In an interview with Fox News Digital on October 15, Ciattarelli noted that he had “made big gains” during his 2021 show “in Hudson County and Passaic County,” two longtime strongholds of the Democratic Party. He also pointed out that President Donald Trump has supporters in those counties.

“And the president did very, very well in 2024 in those same counties. And if you look at who supported me, including some very prominent Democrats here in Hudson County, people want change,” Ciattarelli argued.

Meanwhile, Sherrill cited Ciattarelli’s endorsement of President Trump’s policies against him.
CIATTARELLI REPUBLIC OF NJ THREATENS TO SUE SHERRILL OVER OPIOID CLAIM
On October 8, she accused her Republican rival of having “shown no sign of wanting to stand up to this president.”
“In fact, the president himself called Jack 100% MAGA, and he showed every sign of being one,” Sherrill said.
The race was rocked by explosive accusations from both sides.
According to Sherrill’s military records, the United States Naval Academy barred her from participating in her graduation in 1994, amid a cheating scandal, which Ciattarelli called disqualifying.

The veteran then took aim at his Republican opponent by accusing him of being “complicit” in tens of thousands of opioid deaths in New Jersey, based on the fact that he owned a medical publishing company that promoted content promoting the use of opioids as a low-risk treatment for chronic pain.
