Dru Smith heat warming guard at three years old

The Miami Heat re -signs the goalkeeper Dru Smith for a three -year contract, Shams Charania d’Espn reported on Saturday.
Smith, 27, has been limited to only 23 games and an start in the last two seasons due to injuries. He missed the majority of the 2023-24 season due to an LCA injury, then was absent for much of the 2024-25 season due to a torn Achilles. When he was healthy at the start of last season, Smith collected an average of 6.2 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game while pulling 50.8% of the field.
Despite Smith’s unhappy chance, he re-signed again with heat. After being not recovered from the Missouri in 2021, Smith began his career by playing for the heat during the NBA Summer League. He switched between the heat and their affiliate of the Gague G, the Sioux Falls SkyForce, for much of his first two years in the League. He ended up registering with the Nets in January 2023, but returned to heat the following summer. Now he should stay in Miami for several seasons to come.
