Gwyneth Paltrow’s Daughter Steps Out in Her Archival Calvin Klein Dress

Like mother, like daughter – almost 30 years apart.
Apple Martin stepped out in New York City on Tuesday night to support her famous mother, Gwyneth Paltrow, at the premiere of her new film A24. Marty Supreme by donning one of her classic looks. Martin, 21, hit the red carpet in a form-fitting black dress from the Calvin Klein collection that Paltrow first wore to the 1996 premiere. Emmaa Jane Austen-inspired period piece from director Douglas McGrath. Paltrow, also dressed in a black dress, welcomed her two children, Apple and Moses Martin, to tonight’s star-studded screening.

Paltrow must have been thrilled to see her daughter wearing something she’s already stepped out in, as she recently looked forward to saying so. The Hollywood Reporter that Apple is “so cool.” But it wasn’t a surprise either. The couple recently teamed up for a Gap Studio campaign and interview to promote the collaboration, Paltrow said. Vogue that Apple has sifted through its vast fashion archives.
“She pulls all kinds of things. She’s very into all my ’90s Calvins, of which there are many — and ’90s Pradas, of which there are many,” Paltrow said. Vogue. “Sometimes we just play dress-up and she puts on my Oscar dresses and stuff like that. We have fun there.”
Martin also praised his mother’s style: “She’s so badass when it comes to fashion and she just does what she wants and doesn’t care. I feel like I’m finally getting to the point where I don’t really care what people think. She’s influenced me.”
Marty Supremedirected by Josh Safdie, opens Friday in New York and Los Angeles with a wide release on Christmas Day. Paltrow stars alongside Timothée Chalamet and Odessa A’zion in the story of Marty Mauser, a born hustler and talented ping pong player who will stop at nothing to become a phenomenon.
