GVSU Vs. Ferris State Football Score, Live Updates, Live Stream

Another fall Saturday. Another chapter in one of Division II football’s fiercest rivalries between Ferris State and Grand Valley State.
The 2025 Anchor-Bone Classic returns with all the emotion, history, and championship implications that have defined this clash for more than half a century.
What began as a regional showdown has grown into a national spectacle. Since the Anchor-Bone Trophy was introduced in 2002, the Bulldogs and Lakers have turned this game into a must-watch event—one that often shapes conference races and playoff paths alike.
Last year, Trinidad Chambliss carved his name into rivalry lore, rushing for 122 yards and three touchdowns as Ferris State stormed into Lubbers Stadium and stunned GVSU 34-7. But just two years earlier, Avery Moore and Cade Peterson led a dominant Laker win.
Now, a new era begins. Redshirt freshman Wyatt Bower steps into the spotlight for Ferris State, bringing a fresh spark to an offense loaded with talent and ambition. The Bulldogs enter 2025 with momentum, while GVSU enters the game in the unfamiliar position of having two losses.
