“The Old Guard” is back and the new Netflix suite has familiar and new faces.
The series, returning five years after the first film made its debut, follows a group of immortals who are launching to protect the deadly world from threats while working to keep their long life as secret as possible for fear of capture and study. The latest film brings back Charlize Theron and introduces new A-Lukeers in the mix like Uma Thurman.
Here is a who’s who the cast and the characters to know in “The Old Guard 2.”
Charlize Theron as Andy
Charlize Theron embodies Andy, one of the oldest of his genre and the leader of his group of property of property to make immortals, who are no longer immortal herself at the end of the first film.
Theron’s filmography is varied. She won an Oscar for her role in “Monster” in 2003. Theron also appeared under the name of Furiosa in “Mad Max: Fury Road” and as a number in “F9: The Fast Saga” and “Fast X”. She also appeared in “Snow White and the Huntsman”, “The Road”, “Prometheus”, “The Italian Job” and “Long Shot”.
Um thurman as discord
Uma Thurman plays Discord, an immortal even older than Anda, which appears as a new threat to their species in the following.
Thurman is best known for his role as a bridal in “Kill Bill Vol. 1 “and” Kill Bill Vol. 2 “. She also played in “Pulp Fiction”, “Batman & Robin” like Poison Ivy, and “Nymphomaniac Vol. I and II ”.
Kiki Layne like the Nile
Kiki Layne plays Nile, the last Immortal to join Andy’s crew, as shown in the first film.
Layne also played in “If Beale Street could speak”, “Chip ‘N Dale: Rescue Rangers”, “Don’t worries” and “Native Son”.
Matthias Schoenaerts as a Booker
Matthias Schoenaerts plays Booker, a former member of Andy’s team who is currently at the start of an exile at 100 years from the family after having betrayed them in the first film.
Schoenaerts is best known for “far from the exasperating crowd”, “Rust and Bone”, “Red Sparrow”, “The Danish Girl”, “The Mustang” and “A little chaos”.
Henry Golding like Tuah
Henry Golding plays Tuah, a former immortal who spends his days archive stories and evidence of their species.
Golding is best known for its role as Nick Young in “Crazy Rich Asians”. He also played as a held hero in “Snake Eyes”, as well as roles in “The Gentleman”, “Last Christmas”, “A Simple Favor” and “Nine Perfect Strangers” season 2.
Marwan Kenzari like Joe
Marwan Kenzari plays Joe, another member of the Andy team who is in a romance of several centuries with Nicky.
Kenzari is best known for having played Jafar in the remake “Aladdin” live from Disney in 2019, as well as “Black Adam”, “What has arrived on Monday”, “The Night Agent” and “The Return”.
Luca Marinelli like Nicky
Luca Marinelli plays Nicky, longtime partner of Joe and colleague of the Andy group.

Chiwetel Ejiofor like Copley
Chiwetel Ejiofor plays Copley, a non-immortal that found and recruited Andy’s crew in the first film and now works alongside him.
Ejiofor is the most recognized for having played in “12 years a slave”. He also played Baron Mordo in “Doctor Strange” and his suite, “Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness”. He played more recently in “Life of Chuck”, “The Lion King” and “Venom: The Last Dance”, and is known for films like “Serenity”, “Inside Man”, “Lovely” and “The Martian”.
Veronica NGO like Quynh
Veronica Ngô plays Quynh, the former best friend of Andy who spent centuries trapped in a young iron girl under the sea.
Ngô played in “Da 5 Bloods”, “The Creator”, “Bright” and “Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi”.
