Grizzlies Star Ja Morant from week to week with an ankle sprain

The star goalkeeper of Memphis Grizzlies, Ja Morant, is considered weekday weekdays due to a sprained ankle he suffered during Sunday training, according to a team spokesperson.
Grizzlies now have three starters recovering from injuries that could put them aside for the start of the regular season.
The Zach Edey center underwent surgery to tackle laxity on the left ankle in June. He shouldn’t come back to play until mid-run in November.
Electricity striker Jaren Jackson Jr. underwent surgery to repair a toe injury in July. The team announced a calendar back on game of four to six weeks for Jackson before the start of the training camp, which makes its availability uncertain for the opening of the Grizzlies on October 22 against the New Orleans Pélicans.
Morant, an All-Star twice, has not played a total of 59 games in the past two seasons. He underwent a labrum torn apart by the end of the season in January 2024 after playing in just nine games after a suspension of 25 games to start the season. Morant treated a variety of injuries last season, when he collected an average of 23.2 points and 7.3 assists per game.
