Leeds was very busy this summer, after making 10 signatures – and others could arrive before the transfer window is closed. There is a desire to add an offensive midfielder, and they will have the opportunity to sign one of their main targets.

For much of the summer, Leeds expressed his interest in Emiliano Buendia, with whom Daniel Farke worked during his time as director of Norwich. Until now, an agreement has not been possible, but with less than 36 hours to go until the slapting transfer window, an opportunity seems to have been presented.

According to the initiate of football, Pete O’Rourke revealed that Aston Villa was open to separation from Emiliano Buendia before the closing of the summer transfer window on Monday, which could allow Leeds to move.

“Obviously, there is a long -standing association between Daniel Farke and Buendia of their stay in Norwich. The Leeds are on the market for a number 10, and Buendia is the one they speak before the deadline on Monday. It could happen.

“Leeds was occupied in the window; they made a lot of signatures. He is a player that the leeds hierarchy knows – they were linked to him in the previous transfer windows – it is therefore an agreement that the club could examine if they seek to bring this number ten.”

Leeds is likely to explore a loan agreement for Buendia, which was in Bayer Leverkusen during the second half of last season. Aston Villa would prefer a transfer, although if they are desperate to release Argentinian before the deadline on Monday, they may have to be satisfied with a temporary arrangement. But for the moment, the situation remains open.
