“ Gray’s Anatomy ” was the most broadcast show of April 2025

Streaming continued its ascending trajectory in April, but linear television platforms also experienced an increase in their share of visualization time.
Nielsen’s monthly report shows that streaming streaming increased by 44.3% of all the use of television in the United States, compared to 43.8% in March. The period of April (which took place from March 31 to April 27 in Nielsen books) is the third consecutive month during which streaming platforms have established a new high level of television use.
However, streamers have not stolen from the time to vision point of sale of cables or distribution, because the two have improved a bit on their March numbers. Cable represented 24.5% of all the use of the TV in April (compared to 24% in March), and the broadcasting networks had 20.8% (against 20.5% a month earlier). Another use of television (including games and visualization of physical media) increased from 11.7% in March to 10.3% in April.
The draft of the NFL and the first rounds of the NBA and NHL qualifying series helped to raise the part of Cable vision for the month, while CBS broadcast of the NCAA male basketball championship had the most general network with 18.3 million viewers.
Grey’s Anatomy was the most broadcast title of the month with 3.9 billion minutes of visualization on Hulu and Netflix. The 21st season of the ABC show, which is exclusive to Hulu at the moment, represented around 10% of this total despite only 15 episodes of the 445 episodes Gray Library by the end of April. About 60% of the total time of the issue (approximately 2.34 billion minutes) came from Netflix, the remaining 30% (around 1.17 billion minutes) of the seasons spent on Hulu. (Total streaming for Grey’s Anatomy does not include visualization on the antenna on ABC.)
The white lotus A finished a second second series of streaming with 3.7 billion minutes of observation on Max in April (again, without counting the visualization in airy on HBO).
YouTube has remained the largest individual streaming platform for television users, capturing a new 12.4% summit of all the use of television (compared to 12% in March). The Roku channel has also reached a 2.4% summit and increased by 21% since November 2024, when it started to offer max and other streamers via the canal.
