Edmonton – Dallas striker Roope Hintz was excluded for the series 3 series of the finals of the Western Conference of the Stars against the Edmonton Oilers on Sunday.
Hintz was a match decision for Dallas after leaving the third period of match 2 Friday with an injury. The center took an oblique bar of the defender of Edmonton Darnell Nurse less than four minutes in this final setting and was helped out of the ice without seeing weight on his left leg.
Stars coach Pete Deboer said on Saturday that they were waiting for the results of the tests on Hintz before determining his status for match 3. Hintz traveled with the Dallas team and arrived in Rogers place on Sunday without carrying a walking boot.
Deboer has always said that the status of uncertain Hintz about an hour before the fall of the washer. Hintz warmed up with the stars before match 3, but left several minutes earlier without participating in the line line.
Hintz has five goals and 11 points in 15 games in playoffs and ranked fourth on the stars by scoring regular with 28 goals and 67 points in 76 games.
