Graham Norton reveals a fame for list A which continues to slide through his fingers

There are not many celebrities who did not have a discussion with Graham Norton in his emblematic BBC cat show.
Since he struck our screens in 2007, many stars have returned for repeated appearances over the years.
However, the actor, a 62 -year -old broadcaster and writer revealed the celebrity of the A list which has continuously slipped through his fingers.
After being asked about the Podcast Dish, hosted by Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett, about Brad Pitt who had never made the show, he said: “ He is one of those which we continue to get closer, then that does not happen.
“In America, I think he doesn’t sit on the sofa. He will make sketches with them. He will play small games and things, so we have never made him sit. Maybe we will never do it.
A star that Graham was able to land on the show was Julia Roberts, however, whom he described as “formidable”.
“We never had her before and we discovered that she had never done a British talk show and she did it all because she just Fangirl on Cher.
“It gave a shape to the sofa. Rather than having just four huge stars, Julia Roberts shone her light on expensive and made her the number one star.
“ Also Julia Roberts did this thing where if there was a short break, she knows dear, she knows Tom Hanks and Timothee Chalamet, when there was a short break, she would speak to the public.
“The public loved him so much. She was just great.
“But I was nervous because dear is one of those people, she is so great and I love her, but, uh, no s **** is given. I mean, if she doesn’t have a good time, she will tell you. Yeah [live].
Discussing the next 33rd season, which is starting on September 25 with Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt for their film Smashing Machine, the 62 -year -old said: “ It’s been a long time. I like live research, it’s great.
He also shed light on how he usually salutes his celebrities when they come to the show.
“I’m normally waiting for the sofa,” he said. “Sometimes I hit them behind the scenes and everything is fine. Sometimes they want me to say hello.
“If they had never been lit before, sometimes I would say hello, as if they are athletes or something.”
The Graham Norton Show will return to our screens on Friday September 26 at 10:40 p.m.
