Nationals are trying to end the rocks suddenly hot

The Nationals of Washington will try to end a sequence of 11 consecutive defeats and try to avoid finishing a Homeste 0-7 when they welcome the Rockies of Colorado in the final of a series of four games on Thursday.
Washington started the Homestand after being swept by New York dishes, seeking to meet against a pair of last -place teams, the Miami Marlins and the Rockies. Instead, nationals in shock will try to save a match before a road trip.
Washington went 1 to 10 with runners in a score position in a 3-1 defeat against Colorado on Wednesday.
“We hit the Dur ball. We had nothing to show for a while,” said Dave Martinez, director of nationals. “They dived everywhere on the ground.”
The record for record losses of the Nationals club since the move to Washington in 2005 is 12 games in 2008.
Colorado, on the other hand, benefits from the rarefied air. The Rockies won four consecutive games for the first time since an increase of seven games in May 2024. They have a file of 8-7 in their last 15 games and have as many victories this month as in April and May.
Rockies Recruit on the right Chase Dollander (2-76.57 ERA) will oppose the right-hander Trevor Williams (3-8, 5.71 ERA) Thursday.
Dollander, 23, has lost against dishes and brave in his last two departures. Against Atlanta on Saturday, he granted four points (three deserved) on six strokes in six rounds of a 4-1 defeat. He withdrew four and walked three by launching 97 throws.
“It was a big outing for Chase,” said the acting manager Warren Schaeffer. “After his last two outings where he was ineffective, he gave us six strong sleeves, saved the enclosure of the lifts, does his job and kept the game intact.”
The Nationals scrambled Hollander on April 19, scoring nine points (six deserved) on nine stages in four or more rounds.
Williams has lost its last three departures. Against the Miami marlins on Saturday, he granted two points on six strokes in 5 1/3 rounds.
It is 3-2 with an MPM of 5.14 in six career starts against the Rockies.
The Colorado continued its Homer dam on Wednesday evening. Michael Toglia hit his third ball in two games and Jordan Beck had a double and a home run for the Rockies, who hit 12 circuits in the first three games in the series.
During his last 13 games, Beck Bat .314 (16 for 51) with five doubles, four ball goals, seven products produced and four points.
Ryan Ritter of Colorado provided a key race with a suicide stroke on a field that seemed about to hit him.
“I know that (Brad Lord) has a lot of (race) to his ball, so I expected a bullet on my face, honestly,” Ritter told Rockies TV. “I just knew I had to do a job.”
The second goal player of Rockies, Thairo Estrada, struck his right hand with a launch on Tuesday, did not play the next day due to a bruise.
The recruit of the Nationals Brady House, playing his third big league match, succeeded two strokes for the second consecutive evening.
“Honestly, I can’t wait for us to have a victory,” said House. “I am delighted to celebrate. I think the vibrations are much better whenever you play well but you win too. We are trying. We are going there, and we will get it.”
