Update: September 8, 2025, 3:03 PM EDT Google reported that the problems with Meet have been “resolved for all the users concerned”, according to an update published on the dashboard of its application. “According to preliminary analysis, the deep cause of the problem is a recent change in the content cover,” said the update. “Our engineers solved the problem by retreating the change.”
Google Meet seemed to be undergoing a breakdown on Monday while users reported problems with the technology giant videoconference tool.
The problems reported by the user with Google Meet began to increase sharply on the Down detector shortly after 1 p.m. HE. Google recognized that the meeting had problems in an update of the dashboard of its application. “Some Google Meet customers encounter problems with the loading interface of the competition,” said the update, while noting that this could mean slow loading times or the inability to join the meetings.
“Our engineering team continues to investigate the problem,” said the update.
