58 million pounds of Hillshire brands of corn dogs recalled nationally after several injuries to customers

THE Hillshire Brands Company recalled 58 million pounds of corn dogs and other sausage products on a stick sold nationwide, The USDA (FSIS) security and food inspection service announced on Saturday.
The items may contain pieces of wood integrated into the dough – a problem that has been discovered after several customer complaints.
Check your refrigerator and freezer for the items recalled and throw them immediately.
The recall Assigns a limited number of articles produced between March 17 and September 26, 2025 and sold under the Jimmy Dean or State Fair brands.
All the products recalled have the establishment numbers “Est-582” or “P-894” printed on the packaging.
The recalled corn dogs were sold online and in stores across the country, as well as directly to school districts and the facilities of the country’s Ministry of Defense.

According to FSIS, Recalled corn dogs may contain pieces of wood, which have a risk of safety if consumed.
Until now, five injuries have been reported in relation to the articles recalled.
Due to the security problem, the FSIS gave the recall a level I risk level, which means that there is a “reasonable probability” that eating corn dogs “will result in serious and unfavorable consequences or death”.
Look for corn dogs recalled in your refrigerator or freezer. If you have affected products, launch them or return them immediately.
FSIS advises anyone concerned with injuries of the products recalled to contact a health care provider.
