“Good Morning America” celebrates its 50th anniversary

On November 3, 1975, a new era of morning television began when co-anchors David Hartman and Nancy Dussault welcomed viewers to ABC’s new show, “Good Morning America.”

Fifty years later, on November 3, 2025, the series’ current co-hosts, Robin Roberts, Michael Strahan and George Stephanopoulos, kicked off the show’s milestone anniversary celebration with the same three words addressed to viewers: “Hello, America.”
