Gonzalo Leon Jr. is accused of murder after Houston’s shooting “ Dong ditch ” kills an 11 year old boy
A man from Houston is accused of having killed an 11 -year -old boy after filming “Ding Dong Ditch” on Saturday – the last example of a trend that made dead children.
Gonzalo Leon Jr., 42, was accused of murder on Monday for the death of Julian Guzman, 11, said the city of Houston on Tuesday.
The Harris County Judicial Archives previously identified the suspect as the according to Leon Gonzalo Jr. The suspect was reserved in prison on Tuesday morning, according to county files.
Leon would have opened fire on the 11 -year -old, which a witness described as merging the house when he was shot, according to the police.
“Police have been informed that the male rings houses in the region and fled,” the police said. “A witness said the male was running from a house, after having come to the door, just before undergoing a ball injury.”
The shooting did not seem to involve self -defense because the shooting “was not close to the house”, the Houston police homicide. Michael Cass said, according to the affiliate of CNN, Khou.
“Ding Dong Ditching” is a secular stuffing that has increased in popularity in recent years as a challenge on social networks. Tiktok videos often have variations where farcers hit or kick people’s doors.
In May, an 18 -year -old high school student in Virginia was shot dead during the shooting of a “Dong Ditch” to publish on Tiktok, the New York Times reported. The man accused of having shot the teenager was accused of second degree murder.
In 2020, three 16 -year -olds were killed when a California man struck his car in their vehicle in retaliation for a farce “Dong ditch”. The man was found guilty of three murder leaders and sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole in 2023.
In the Houston affair, the boy and his friends played a game of “Dong ditch” in a house at the bottom of the street of their houses just before 11 p.m. on Saturday when a person inside the house is out and shot the boy, the Houston police announced.
The boy was taken to the hospital and pronounced on Sunday.
