Millie Bobby Brown is a mom!
THE Foreign things Star, 21, and her husband Jake Bongiovi, 23, welcomed their first baby together by adoption, announcing the news on Instagram on Thursday, August 21.
“This summer, we welcomed our sweet little girl through adoption. We are excited to embark on this magnificent next chapter of parenting both in peace and intimacy,” she wrote in the post. “And then there were 3,” wrote the new parents in a joint position.

The pair – which sparked romantic rumors in June 2021 when Bongiovi shared a selfie with the actress – was first connected via Instagram. They “were friends a little” before starting to go out, said the actress Cable In 2022. The couple then married secretly in May 2024.
In October, the couple published photos on Instagram from their celebration in Villa Cetinal in Italy with their family and friends. “Forever and always, your wife,” the actress capped the carousel, who presented photos of their wedding and the two superb brown wedding dresses.
Bongiovi also shared his own set of images on Instagram from the couple’s special day. “Forever and always, your husband,” he legend photos of the newlyweds. In their carousel, the couple can be seen exchanging vows under a white floral arch. In other photos, the pair smiles in front of rows of large trees. Bongiovi also shared a shot with his father Jon Bon Jovi.
Last March, the actress opened on the growth of her family with Bongiovi while appearing in an episode of the Intelligence podcast. At the time, the actress said she was really looking forward to becoming a mother. “My mother had her first child at the age of 21, and my father was 19 years old. And you know, it’s been my thing since you meet Jake,” said Brown. “Since I was a baby, I told my mother like dolls. I wanted to be a mom like the way my mother was for me.”
“And my nan, my grandmother is, it was a large part of my life. And so, yes, I mean, Jake knows how important it is for me and, of course, I want to really focus on establishing myself as an actor and as a producer, but I also find that it is so important to start a family for me personally,” she continued. “It’s a huge thing. Jake was like, we can’t do that before we get married. So it’s his thing.”
THE Electrical state Star continued by saying that she and her husband planned to have a large family because they both come from families with four children. “And my thing was, I really want a family. I really want a big family,” said Brown. “I am one of the four. He is one of the four. So, it is definitely in our future, but, for me, I do not see your own child, you know, as really different as in adoption.”
Later this month, Brown said “loved” the experience of shaving so her head, she wants to start again – especially when she becomes a new mother. “I always tell Jake for my first baby, I want to shave my hair,” said Brown when appearing on the Calls his daddy podcast. “I don’t know. I just feel like it was really liberating. I would suggest it for anyone, any girl.”
When Cooper pushed to confirm that Brown would shave her head for her first baby, the actress explained why she wanted it – and when she would. “Maybe like just before I can give birth. Because I just think that the hair is an event to manage anyway,” said Brown, saying that she just wanted to “feed” her baby.
Brown added: “Why face my hair? I think it’s such a liberating experience, as being a woman is, and I felt like I have this experience as a girl, but I would like to have this experience as a woman.”
