Stick

Pryce “stick” Cahill lives for golf, which is regrettable because golf does not seem to love it. It is a faded former professional who had everything, but after a course crisis, was reduced to working in a golf store, to train elderly club players and to live in the garage of his ex-wife. When he meets the disturbed but prodigiously talented young Santi (Peter Dager), Pryce feels a last chance of redemption. Can Santi help channel his gift while keeping on the rights and narrow? Owen Wilson deploys his kind guofball familiar like Pryce, for a brilliant and uninformed comedy drama with a certain sweet melancholy at the base. Phil Harrison

Sara: woman in the shadows

Dangerous game… (left) Teresa… and Claudia Gerini in Sara: woman in the shadows. Photography: Netflix

An American spying drama consciously in a bad mood with Teresa Saponangelo as Sara, a former secret agent who is forced to return to action by the suspicious death of her son. Although it still has trouble with the trauma of its loss, the story also alludes to the invisibility sometimes felt by women at the average age – and how, in certain circumstances, like this, which can be used to an advantage. However, while she gets closer to the truth about the murder of her son, Sara begins to wonder if she always has the tools to play such dangerous games. PH

Untold: Love in the Wild – The real dating experience

Modern dating… Chloé ends in Untold: Love in the Wild – The real experience of meetings. Photography: Tom Dymond / Channel 4

This requires a courageous woman to take this mission, but Chloé Burrows is well placed to explore how modern meetings change – after all, she embarked on the depth of Love Island in 2021, ending as a finalist. Burrows is curious about emerging statistics that show that 18-35 year olds abandon dating applications, users concerned about the use of AI and their safety on them. There is only one thing to do: get involved courageously in the dates and events of the real world to know how people meet the IRL. Hollie Richardson

Tires

Family Business… Steve Gerben, Shane Gillis and Vince Vaughn in tires. Photography: Netflix

Shane Gillis took an unusual route to fame: the former writer Saturday Night Live was dismissed due to the emergence of a clip in which he used racial insults and subsequently built an independent career. The first season of this sitcom taking place in a car repair workshop represented a step back towards the dominant current of entertainment; Now he returns, in a large, joking, sometimes rude style. Shane (Gillis) and the cousin Will (Steve Gerben) seek to extend their business, but what could it cost their relationship? PH

More melodrama of the disjointed and fiery duo, Ginny and Georgia. While we left them, the fairy wedding of Georgia had resulted in his arrest for murder. Fortunately for the story – if not the factual veracity of the show – it is now in parole and has a label of ankle. His family and friends come together, convinced of her innocence, but soon to be emerging: could this sympathetic but volatile woman really be guilty? In the meantime, Ginny discovers that the school is not fun when you are the daughter of a suspect of murder. PH
