Geekay Esports rebounded after taking his first defeat the day before with a Sunday scanning at the Overwatch Champions 2025 series – North America Stage 3 to improve at 5-1 in the event.
NTMR also left with a 3-0 scan on team Z to return to a 3-3 file with its second consecutive victory.
The online tournament includes eight teams. Week 6 is scheduled for October 11 to 12 and will end the game game with the last five games.
The six best teams in the ranking will switch to regional double elimination qualifiers. The three best finish in the playoffs will win the world finals of the Overwatch Series 2025 champions and cash prices of $ 30,000 (first), $ 20,000 (second) and $ 14,500 (third). The lower finish will earn less: $ 10,500 for the fourth, $ 7,500 for the fifth and sixth and $ 5,000 for the seventh and the eighth.
Geekay’s Esports have been faced with little resistance in his 3-0 victory against Dhillducks (0-6), winning 2-0 on Samoa, 2-1 on King’s Row and 1-0 on Jundertown. With victory, Geekay moves in second place in the space game (5-1) on the card differential.
NTMR also convincingly won team Z (1-5), sweeping with a 2-0 victory over the Samoa, a 142.41 m victory at 51.23 m on Esperanca and a 1-0 victory over Watchpoint: Gibraltar. With the victory, NTMR exceeded Sakura Esports in fourth place on differential map.
