Ateez calls Golden Hour Era Bold and Playful, message to Indian Atinys

From closed window tours to the high-level album stadium, the K-Pop Ateet group has cemented its place on the world music scene, in particular with their recent Billboard Hot 100 entry, where their title of title Lemon Drop from Golden Hour: Part.3 made the story. The song made its debut at No. 69, only making the third group of K-Pop boys, after BTS and Stray Kids, to enter the graph. Now in their seventh year, the group continues to challenge expectations with intrepid creativity and inexhaustible synergy.
In an exclusive conversation with India today, ATEET members have spoken of their evolving artistic talent, the meaning of Golden Hour: Part.3, and the tacit language that binds and out of stage.
A new era of dawn in gold hour
On each return, Ateet rewrites his story. But this time, there is a change, not only in sound, but in mind. Golden Hour: part.3 feels like a cinematographic turning point, a more mature reflection of who Ateez has become.

Creatively, we have taken up more challenges, tried different sounds and we are focused on the expression of more detailed emotions.”
Their last hit, Lemon Drop, is a radiant title track with Edge and Effevescence. San explains: “Lemon Drop has this cool and refreshing energy that we really felt in the form of the mood of this moment in our trip. It is brilliant and edifying, but also has a little mature advantage in the way we deliver emotions. We wanted to show that Deez can be fresh and fun, but always growing up, and this song that was balanced for perfectly.”

Fat, brave and rhythm fall
The reputation of bending the genres of Ateez comes from one thing: to be intrepid. As a captain and creative anchor, Hongjoong develops: “For each return, we have a lot of discussions with each other and with our team. Everyone brings their own thoughts and ideas to the table, and we are not afraid to challenge each other.
Alteration storms – on and off stage
The performances are at the heart of Ateez’s DNA. But sometimes the best stories come from the most difficult steps.
“One of the most difficult but unforgettable performances for us was our New York concert at Citi Field last year”, shares Wooyoung, “due to the weather, there was a two-hour delay, and as we had to respect the curfew, we played all the rainfall. Field for this year’s concert.”
Their synergy? No luck – a few years of practice and patience. Yeosang adds: “I think our synergy on stage has just spent so much time together. Over the years, we have to understand the movements, the timing and the energy of each almost instinctively. But at the same time, it is something on which we are still working. We are constantly communicating, we constantly make comments.”
Inside the Ateez moodboard
Invited to visualize the energy of the group in the symbols, Seonghwa depicts a vibrant image: “If Ateet had a mood painting at the moment, I think that would include fire, to show our passion, because we are always trying a pioneer of our own path. And some splashes of color throughout. With confidence while remaining faithful to who we are.”
Pre-show rituals
How does a group known for powerful performances are preparing behind the scenes?
“Before going on stage, we don’t really have a strict routine,” said Mingi. “It is more about relaxing and preparing mentally. Sometimes, we are lying together or talk with casualness to relieve tension. Each of us finds our own way of concentrating and getting into the right state of mind before the show. The goal is always the same, to go on stage by feeling ready, to give our best and enjoy playing.”
Ateez demonstration board
While the world is looking at their increase, the members remain anchored and focused on the future.
“If I could show a dream for Ateez next year, it would be to challenge us musically even more,” said Jongho, the group’s maknae. “To continue to push our limits and try things that help us grow as an artists. I also hope that we can visit more countries and meet fans that we have not yet seen.
When he was asked what Golden Hour: Part.3 would look like in a film, Yunho has a ready living metaphor: “I think that would be this moment when the characters run in a field open under the sun, laughing and taking their breath, as everything feels fresh, brilliant and full of possibility.”
Ateez is currently in seventh year together. With hindsight, Yeosang reflects on the memories that define them: “Looking back on our 6 -year trip, I think the moments that define the most Ateez are when we are on stage with Aïne – whether it is a return scene, a fans’ meeting, a festival, or one of our concerts.”
To Indian Atinys, with love
The Ateez fans base has grown exponentially, and the group feels love.
“To our Indian Atinys: we know that you have been waiting patiently for a long time, and we are really grateful for your love and your support from afar,” explains Wooyoung. “We see all the messages, the energy and the passion you send us. It means a lot, and we hope we can see you soon!”
And that gives Hope to Indian Atinys to watch their favorite group happening in India in the years to come.
